Of the 1.80 Lakh vehicles sold by Maruti Suzuki in July 2025, more than 1.4 Lakh units were domestic transfers, while more than 31,000 cars were sent abroad. The remaining volume came from more than 8,000 units, full orders for Toyota. While there was a slight increase in the total volume compared to July 2024, the profits in exports were more visible than the house.
Sales of small cars like Alto and S-COS once again slipped around 3100 units behind 2024. Together, both added to 6,822 units. On the other hand, compact hatchbacks and sedans such as Swift, Wagon and Baleno posted a strong number of 65,667 units – comfortably from the same period last year.

The total contribution from the entrance level a segment where Ciaz stood at 72,662 units along with the mini and compact cars-one small over the same period in 2024. Maruti Suzuki’s only medium-sized sedan offered, Ciaz, fell on just 173 units in July. However, compared to the April-July quarter in the last financial year, the company has lost over 20,000 units in the segment.

The utility of the vehicle’s sales led by models such as Brezza, Ertiga and Grand Vitara fell from more than 3500 units from year to year. The company sold 52 773 UV in July, compared with 56,302 in the same month last year. The sale of the van, represented only by EECO, was shown a slight increase – climbing from 11,916 units to 12,341, while Super Carrie LCV sales, however, had a decrease of less than 100 units.
The country’s total domestic dispatch had 1.40,570 units, including both passenger cars and Super Carry, the largest car manufacturer. A year ago, the figure was almost the same at 1,40,354 units. Utility vehicles and LCV rejected a little offset in hatchbacks and compact sedans.

Meanwhile, export versions increased. The company sent 31,745 cars abroad in July 2025 – an increase of around 8,000 units in the same month last year. The increase helped the company’s total lookup to reach 1 80,526 vehicles for the month, which exceeds 1.75,041 units in July 2024. Maruti Suzuki has sold more than 7.08 Lakh cars in the first four months of FY 2025-26 compared to FY 2025-25.
