Triumph has just launched the Triumph Thruxton 400 in India, priced at ₹2.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This café racer is the shining star of Triumph’s 400cc lineup, sitting right above the Scrambler 400 X.
If you’re into stunning looks, the Thruxton 400 is definitely the best-looking bike in the 400cc range. It comes with some cool upgrades over the Speed 400, including a redesigned rear sub-frame, sporty clip-on handlebars, and repositioned footpegs — all making your ride more comfortable and engaging.
Style-wise, the bike rocks a classic café racer semi-fairing, a sleek teardrop fuel tank, and fresh side panels. The tail section is sharper with a slim fender and a new taillight design. The wide, re-profiled seat encourages a forward-leaning posture, perfect for those sporty vibes, and the seat cowl comes standard to complete the look.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the familiar 398cc liquid-cooled TR-series engine but tuned to deliver a bit more power — 41.5bhp at 9,000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 7,500rpm, thanks to a new camshaft that bumps the power higher up the rev band.
Triumph also tweaked the suspension setup to give you a sportier and more thrilling ride. And if you love choices, you can pick the Thruxton 400 in four striking colors: Lava Red Gloss, Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Metallic Racing Yellow.
