The much-awaited Volvo EX30, the brand’s smallest electric SUV, is all set to make its way to India. Expected to be priced around ₹45 lakh (ex-showroom), the EX30 promises a driving range of up to 474 km on a single charge.
Volvo EX30: Compact Premium EV for India
After the recent launch of the updated XC60, Volvo has confirmed that the EX30 will be its next big debut in India. The compact SUV has already been spotted testing on Indian roads under heavy camouflage. Globally, it sits below the EC40 and EX40, making it the entry-level premium EV in Volvo’s lineup.
Volvo EX30: Built on Proven EV Platform
The EX30 is underpinned by the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which has already proven successful in international markets. For India, Volvo may bring the version equipped with a 69 kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery pack. To keep prices competitive, Volvo is also exploring local assembly, which could help it stay under the ₹45 lakh mark.
