Updated 2025 Volvo XC60 comes with exterior revisions and interior upgrades alongside the addition of new features and technologies
On August 1, 2025, Volvo plans to launch the redesigned XC60 in India. One of the top-selling plug-in hybrids in Europe is the updated crossover, which debuted globally earlier this year. The XC60 has continuously been the Swedish brand’s best-selling model globally since its initial release in 2017.
The facelifted Volvo XC60 now has new alloy wheels, a reprofiled air intake, and a reworked grille with the updated iron logo. The lighting signature in the back now has a darker tint, which is meant to increase the visual maturity. With the addition of Aurora Silver and Forest Lake, as well as the addition of a new shade named Mulberry Red, the color scheme has also grown.
The updated infotainment system, which now revolves on an 11.2-inch floating touchscreen, is the main focus of the cabin makeover. The display seeks to improve legibility and clarity by increasing pixel density by 21%. With its improved integration of Google services, this new interface makes it easier to use third-party apps, voice control, and navigation.

Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, which offers more than twice the processing speed and a tenfold increase in graphics capacity, supports the crisper interface. In order to add a rich texture, the updated XC60 also reworks its material palette, adding finishes like Quilted Nordico trim and Navy Herringbone Weave.
Additionally, it has a new speaker mesh and a Bowers & Wilkins audio system. Volvo is anticipated to keep the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a mild hybrid system for the Indian market. With an eight-speed automatic transmission, the powerplant may continue to produce a maximum power output of 250 horsepower and a maximum torque of 350 Nm.
Among other improvements, the revamped Volvo XC60 also features a more effective wireless charging pad, a redesigned cupholder, and storage adjustments. In order to lower noise levels, interior acoustics have been adjusted, and Volvo now provides a variety of seat design choices in international markets.
